"Where is Lucy?!"
"You'll see her soon enough."
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!"
*silence*
Then he regained his composure (from which he had lost a few moments in his panic) and replied ever so calmly,"If you hurt Lucy, or either of my daughters, I will kill you all."
"Promise me."
He was slightly taken aback from this odd response to a death threat,"What?"
"Do it. I dare you. Only then will the council see just how terrible we all know you are."
Blake couldn't help but lose it just slightly, he growled and shook the bars as if they would break if he tried hard enough. "WAIT!" he yelled at the retreating guard," I'll make you a deal."

"Shut-up Taylor."
They all turned to see a boy. A boy with cat ears and a tail.
Taylor turned and looked at him,"Well! If it isn't the cat boy."
His ears flattened against his head to show his agitation. He figured that since her attention had been swayed, and it was almost time for class, that his duty had been fulfilled and he could leave. Then Summer did something despicable. As he walked by, she grabbed his tail. Now, everybody might not know this (if you don't then you need to retake kindergarten), but cats' tails are their sensitive spot.
"OWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!"
"What's the matter? Cat boy."
Now that REALLY made Adrienne MAD,"You, WITCH! How could you do that?! You know that's his sensitive spot!"
"Oh, really? I had no idea!" Then she looked at the boy who was sprawled out on the ground because of the epic force she used to grab his tail,"Does that hurt, Cat boy?" and she pulled it a little harder.
He glared at her. He wasn't going to show weakness to her! At least, as far as he could put up with the pain he wouldn't,"Let me go, you sick, twisted, pampered princess!"
"That's right, I AM a princess! So start acting like it, Cat boy!"
"You know, I HAVE a name i-"
"Do you think I care?"
"Never mind." He pulled from her grip. Although it was extremely painful because it pulled his tail even more, he did.
She started to grab it again, when the school bell rang,"I guess you got saved by the bell, Cat boy." She then kicked him in the back of the knee making him slam into the ground. Her and her group then turned and flew off to class. Than remembering the rules they all walked to class.
Adrienne ran over to the boy,"Oh my gosh, are you okay?!"
He sighed and rubbing his tail said,"Yeah. I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
He looked up at her with an odd look on his face. No one had ever cared if he was okay, so it was odd for her to be so concerned right now for him,"Yeah."

He cocked his head at this strange girl who seemed to actually care about him. Adrienne herself was surprised the rush of affection not love but affection. Extending her hand she offered this strange boy a smile.
Jinx stared at her hand slightly baffled then he slowly reached up and accepted the hand she offered. With a tug she pulled him to his feet. Adrienne's foreboding blue eyes were trained on his. Jinx lowered his gaze half expecting her to call him a freak or something. Instead Adrienne gave him a smile.
"Hi...my name is Adrienne Millit who are you?" Her voice still had an electric tone to it just not as angry, her voice also intoned an almost awkward wariness, as though she rarely spoke to people like this.
Jinx's ears rose slightly.
"I'm Jinx Remey" he said softly.
Ria stared at Adrienne in shock. Gone was the angry girl from before, replaced by someone kind and considerate. Then the warning bell jarred Ria to her senses.
"Oh no we're gonna be late!" she wailed.
Jinx's tail fluffed in horror and Adrienne whipped around.
"Hey! Where did you come from?! Ya know what, never mind, we better go." she said turning on her heel and charging down the hall with Jinx and Ria following closely behind.
Adrienne, Jinx and Ria burst into the homeroom. All with flushed faces, wide eyes, and all gasping for breath. Ria squeaked to the teacher,
"S-Sorry I know we're late."
The teacher just sighed,
"I'll give you a pass today. Ria your assigned seat is by Winter" Ria started stuttering in horror but nodded and sat beside the distant white haired girl. The teacher continued reading off kids names "Ryan Barbotti you are beside Jeremy Corrigan"
Ryan Barbotti stared irritably at the teacher while Jeremy Corrigan gave an easy going shrug.
"I could care less as long as I get cute girls in front, beside or behind me" said Jeremy giving a bubbly grin. Kyle ,Jeremy's best friend, whispered something to the teacher about sitting behind Jeremy. The teacher gave a weary nod and sat Kyle behind his best friend.
Finally the teacher got to the last two names,
"Adrienne Millet you are sitting beside Jinx Remey." Jinx and Adrienne both nodded and took their seats behind Ria and Winter.
Ria glanced back at Adrienne and handed the raven haired girl a small slip of paper. Adrienne slowly unfolded the paper and it read I'm sorry for irritating you earlier. If you like we could start over and try to be friends. -Ria. Adrienne was shocked After everything I did she still wants to be friends? she thought. A small grin came to her lips as she handed Ria the slip of paper. She nervously unfolded it and found two simple letters written: Okay. A smile came to her lips as she gently folded the paper up and put it in her pocket.
