"Um Adrienne...." he began. Right then the bell rang. Yelping, Adrienne got to her feet.
"GOTTA GO JINX I PROMISED LOLA I'D MEET HER BEFORE LAST PERIOD!"
Jinx's ears drooped slightly "Oh um yeah see ya later." he mumbled softly. Adrienne tore through the halls her black hair flying, as she rounded the corner she smashed in to someone. A groaning Adrienne fell to the ground.
"Hey!" she spat. A boy stood there rubbing his forehead, his electric blue eyes flashing. It was Ryan Barbotti. The dark haired boy started to say something, but then shook his head realizing it wasn't every day cute girls ran into him. Deciding to make the best of situation, he gave Adrienne his most winning smile.
"I'm Adrienne Millet" she murmured her eyes transfixed on his. The center of his gorgeous blue eyes turned bright fiery red
Ryan suddenly realized that this girl was friends with Jinx Remey and he HATES him. "So," he whispered although his voice sounded kind and friendly there was a magical force to it, "are you friends with Jinx Remey?" Adrienne frowned as if trying to remember.
"Yeah..I guess'' she mumbled sounding slightly unsure.
"Ryan!" A high, sweet musical voice echoed down the hall. Ryan turned towards the sound, his eyes flashing angrily as Carter Rochon strode over and planted herself between Ryan and a dazed Adrienne. Carter stared at Ryan with a look of disgust on her face. Ryan glared at her, but Carter merely sighed "Really, Ryan, you know hypnotism doesn't work on me." Turning to Adrienne the blonde hummed some bars of a song and whispered some magic lyrics in her ear. A diamond white light circled her arms and legs sparkling, twirling around she began to sing. Her voice was beautiful, full of hope and happiness. It was like a cool breeze on summer day, the song was so sweet it was practically tangible, the sound was as delicate as a snowflake and as vibrant as autumn leaves. It was, in short, perfect. Adrienne blinked, suddenly jolted out of her stupor. She stared at Carter who had stopped singing but was still surrounded by that diamond white light.
"Quick let's go!" Carter yelled charging down the hall leaving a stunned Ryan staring after them uncomprehendingly. Adrienne bounded after her. When they where a good distance from Ryan, Carter turned to Adrienne."Its guys like him you have to stay away from....just warning you" And with that she turned and walked off, her long blonde hair swishing slightly.
Adrienne stared after her in shock. Maybe I was a little distant earlier. Suddenly, Adrienne ran after her "Hey! Wait up!" she said darting down the hall after Carter.

"OK, Lilly, you ready?" came Ria's voice. Lilly had talked Ria into modeling some of the clothes she bought.
"Course I am c'mon lemme see!" squealed a very excited Lilly. Ria stepped out wearing black and white. She looked very cute and Lilly had been with her when she bought them, but still she had NEVER seen Ria wear black before, "Wow Ria you look so cute!"
Ria giggled taking a bow. Twirling around, she turned to Lilly with a grin."Do you really think it suits me?" she said surveying herself in the mirror. Lilly nodded enthusiastically.
"Yeah they really do!" said Lilly with delight. Ria and Lilly stepped out into the hall when suddenly a blur of black streaked by them. Both of them blinked then burst out laughing. Then all of sudden, a voice as smooth as silk came from behind Ria.
"Well hello there!" jerking around, Ria saw none other then Jeremy Corrigan.
"Hello." she replied smiling slightly.
"And who are you two lovely ladies?"
"I'm Ria, and this is Lilly."
"What beautiful names! Yours especially Ria."
She blushed,"Why, thank you!"
"Your name means light I presume?"
"Um... yes, it is! How did you know?"
"I make it my job to know everyone in class." the boy gave her a charming smile.
"Wow! How nice of you!" said a starstruck Lilly.
"Well thank you, but I must be off. How about we continue talking at a local cafe later after school?"
Ria smiled,"Oh, sure!"
Lilly smiled very happy, and then she frowned,"Oh. I can't. I have to help babysit my little brother."
He smiled politely,"Aw, maybe next time?"
"For sure!"
Ria looked at the charming boy and said,"By the way, what is YOUR name?"
"My name is Jeremy Corrigan."
Ria's breath caught in her thought she had HEARD of him but she had never met him. A sudden thought struck her,"Wait, wait are you asking me on....a date?" she said her dark eyes widening.
He gave her a charming grin, "Well if you want to think about it that way yes it is a date." Winking at her he strode off down the hall. Ria stood there slightly stunned. Well she thought I guess its a date. And with that the slightly stunned blonde walked off in the opposite direction as the flirty, pink haired boy.
